Weather: Mixed skies and 21 C Thursday, a tad warmer Friday

A mix of sun and cloud with seasonal temperatures continues Thursday with a forecast high of 21 C.

It might feel a bit brisk to start — at least compared to that August swelter — with a morning low of 12 C and wind becoming northwest at 20 km/h.

Thursday night is partly cloudy with wind becoming light and a low of 11 C, according to the Environment and Climate Change Canada forecast.

Skies are mixed again Friday with an expected high of 24 C and a humidex of 26 C. Cloudy periods and a low of 11 C are forecast for Friday night.

A mix of sun and cloud and a high of 25 C are predicted for Saturday with a 30 per cent chance of showers Saturday night. The forecast low is 14 C.

Here’s hoping the Labour Day weekend forecast brightens up.

As of Thursday morning, the forecast was for cloudy skies and a 60 per cent chance of showers Sunday and Monday with highs of 22 C and 21 C. Expected lows are 15 C and 13 C.

Typical temperatures for this time of year are highs of 22 C and lows of 12 C.
